Descripción
COMEMA ARAK 42 - THE ALUMINIUM BLUEWATER CRUISER
Built by COMEMA, this 1987 ARAK 42 belongs to the generation of aluminium yachts designed for high latitudes and long passages. French flagged, this 12.70 m pre-owned cruiser suits crews looking for a tough, self-sufficient boat able to take eight people far from home. Price: €59,000 VAT paid.
An aluminium hull built for the sea
The aluminium hull, with a 10,000 kg displacement, gives the ARAK 42 the strength and forgiving nature the material is known for. At 12.70 m long, 4.20 m wide and drawing just 1.40 m, she combines interior volume with access to shallow anchorages. The rig includes a furling mainsail, a genoa, spinnaker gear, halyard turning blocks and a backstay.
Power and life on board
The VOLVO 2003 diesel on shaft drive delivers 6 knots cruising at around 2 l/h, with 9 knots top speed. 350 litres of fuel and 200 litres of fresh water support extended cruising. Below, three cabins and eight berths, a convertible saloon, a galley with hob, oven and electric fridge, hot water, and a teak cockpit with table, bathing platform, skirt and ladder.
