Jeanneau's Prestige range was built on a simple idea: deliver the volume and refinement of a yacht within a 14-metre hull. This 2013 Prestige 450, FRANCE flagged, is a fine example. Build and seakeeping

A polyester hull measuring 13.96 m with a 4.30 m beam, a shallow 1.05 m draft and an 11,500 kg displacement: proportions that open up shallow waters and sheltered anchorages while keeping a solid feel at sea. Decks and cockpit are laid in teak, a hallmark finish on this model and a secure surface underfoot.

Power and performance

Twin VOLVO D6 435 hp engines, six cylinders with seawater cooling, drive through pods - a setup combining efficiency, low noise and outstanding handling alongside, backed by a bow thruster.
