Created to a design of Ferretti Group, 550 has a Planing GRP hull and GRP superstructure driven by 2 x MAN i6 - 730 CR/ 2 x MAN i6 - 800 CR engines to a maximum speed of 30 knots while comfortably cruising at 27 knots. The fuel tank has a capacity of 2500l/550gal what allows a yacht to cover 300 nautical miles without the need to refuel. Ferretti 550 has a beam of 4.82m/16ft. The optional version foresee twin MAN i6 800 CR generating 800 mhp allowing the boat to reach a maximum speed of 31,5 knots and cruise at 26 knots.
