DUFOUR 525 GL - BLUEWATER CRUISING WITH FULL AUTONOMY

Built by Dufour in 2006, the 525 GL is the French yard's take on the "Grand Large" concept: a 15.30 m offshore cruiser designed to cover miles with family or crew without compromising on comfort. Carefully maintained and regularly upgraded — sails serviced, energy system renewed, antifouling 2026 — this FRANCE-flagged example is ready to sail, offered at €210,000 VAT paid.

A proven seagoing platform

GRP hull, 15.30 m overall with a 4.90 m beam, 2.00 m draft and 18,000 kg displacement: the 525 GL has the stability and sail-carrying power of a genuine voyaging yacht. Deck and cockpit are teak-laid, and the rig includes a fully battened mainsail and an ELVSTROM 2020 genoa, both serviced in 2026, plus staysail, spinnaker with sock, backstay, mainsail track and car, and a boom fitted with lazy jacks and lazy bag (2024).

Power and life on board

The 75 hp VOLVO D2-75, installed in 2022 with 1,980 hours, raw-water cooled, 4 cylinders, delivers a 7-knot cruising speed for around 2 l/h. With 400 litres of fuel and 800 litres of water, range matches the programme. Below, 3 cabins and 7 berths, 12 persons allowed, a complete galley (hob, oven, microwave, two fridges of 125 L and 80 L, freezer, 2021 dishwasher, KENWOOD 2021 washing machine) and generous power generation: PANDA 2023 6 kVA generator (415 h), 1,200 W of new 2026 solar panels, wind generator, 12V and 220V circuits.
